WOW, am I the luckiest girl ever!!! I got spoiled big time on my big day!!! I was given an awesome breakfast by Meg of Lobster Benedict with Baby's awesome coffee. Then it was off to the LYS Knit Wits for the turtle brownies-to die for- and yarn gift certificates from all my friends. Can it get any better? Yes, dinner at an awesome Chinese resterant by Michaela. I need a day or two to recoop.It took me time, but I have used all the gift certificates. I got the most awesome stash. I did what Meg said and bought what I don't normally buy. I got CASHMERE. And not only one skein.........4! Yes, FOUR. Two in pink and two in a beautiful blue/green. Then a few balls of aroura karabella for the stash. (My favorite) and then some yummy pandora in a burgandy ruby. AWESOME, about sums it all up.
Then I got a beautiful book and yarn to make socks from Michaela with another dinner. Just too nice. And my secret sister Sue sent me a huge awesome box of goodies and yarn with a book for making not one, oh no, but two items. A beautiful tote bag and great purse. She also added little fun things and the best bar of chocolate truffle by lindt. I just melted. I chipped away at that bar for a week. (It was hard not to lick the foil rapper.)
This was the best birthday ever!!! Made 48 a thing of the past. WOW! I wouldn't change a thing. Friends are the best. THANK-YOU!!!
So glad I was able to spend time with you on your birthday. It was a fun day. I'm glad you've added cashmere to your stash. Everybody deserves some cashmere in their lives.
