Time is flying by at record speed. My Very Good Friend Meg is getting ready to leave Key West to go on to her next tour of duty with her husband and family. This takes her in a few weeks to Alameda, (San Fran area) California. I am enjoying every moment I can with her. I only wish that we would have met much sooner than we did, but I am just happy that we did meet and have formed a special bond that will live on till one of us is no more.
Although I will miss her very,very much I will never be more than a phone call or e-mail away. So wipe away those tears and buck up little camper.
I am enjoying this time with her as much as I can because before you know it she will be miles and miles away and although her love and support and thoughtfulness will be with me always her sweet hugs will not.
Dear Sweet Meg I will miss you so very much. Understand that you are so dear to me my friend. You will be number one on the speed dial of my phone. You will be hearing from me more than you know.
So, I dry my tears as they fall on my face now and shake off the wowes of your leaving and enjoy the time that I have with you before you depart. I will be a mess when you leave but once the phone calls start I will be back on track.
I never get use to good-byes but this is not good-bye just a far hello.

Very sweet goodbye. We will certainly be in touch, have no fear. You'd better put me as number 2 on the speed dial. I don't want your husband mad at me. Everything else I've said in person. Love you.
